I began with a stencil of young women, painting their forms with a wet-on-dry technique to capture their details. Once the stencil was removed, I added more colours and blends, using wet-on-wet washes to create a rich and lively background.
This piece is part of a collection I created for my beginner watercolour classes. It’s a demonstration of how stencils can be a helpful tool for new artists, providing guidance while allowing room for creativity.
