I’ve known Tracy-Leigh’s father, Gary, since I was 11 — our families were neighbours and shared a close friendship that has lasted decades. Being invited to Tracy-Leigh and Paul’s wedding was a true honour, and I wanted to create a gift that was both personal and lasting.

After discussing the idea with Tracy-Leigh and Paul, I offered to create a personalised portrait drawing. Once the wedding photos were available, they sent me their favourite image, which I printed in greyscale for reference. From there, I carefully crafted this artwork, capturing the couple’s likeness and the emotion of their special day.

Every portrait I create is fully customised, thoughtful, and designed to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments. Whether it’s a wedding, anniversary, or family milestone, my drawings are made to be cherished for generations.

FAQ - People Portraiture Commissions

High-quality photos are the key to a beautiful portrait! We recommend clear, well-lit photos taken at eye-level with the subject. The more detail we can see, especially in the eyes, the more lifelike the final piece will be. You’ll use the Dropbox link we send you to upload your images after you place your order. Please use our guidelines for file format (.JPEG or .PNG), size (20MB max), and quantity (6 images max)

We specialise in various types of custom people portraits, including individual portraits, couples portraits for engagement / anniversary gifts, and family portraits. Please specify the number of subjects and desired format (e.g., headshot, bust, full-body) in your inquiry for an accurate quote.

We understand the importance of memorial pieces. While we prefer high-resolution images, we are skilled in working with older, sometimes faded or damaged, photographs. We can often use a combination of several photos to capture the likeness and spirit of the individual. This is a common request and we will discuss photo quality and feasibility during your consultation.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and to cover the cost of materials. The final balance is due upon your final approval of the completed artwork, prior to shipping. We offer secure online payment via our website for your convenience.

 A custom portrait is a deeply personal and thoughtful gift. We offer gift vouchers and can work with you to complete the project without the recipient’s knowledge. We will send all communications and updates to you so the surprise remains intact.
