meet your teacher!

Hello, my name is Stuart Ian Currie, and I am the principal instructor at Cviisual Art Studio. I cannot claim to be an Art Teacher because I have never had any formal training to become a ‘qualified’ Teacher.

That said however, I have had decades of experience as a practising artist. I have also been privately trained in traditional oil painting techniques, and I have completed Visual Arts Diploma (TAFE NSW) and Visual Arts Bachelor (Uni NSW).

Great artists have always understood that painting is both discipline and emotion.

– something we continue to explore in our own studio practice.
