The Process & Emotion:

Moving beyond a simple landscape, this work sits firmly in the realm of Action Painting. Using a high-energy, gestural approach, I’ve layered thin, sweeping flickers of paint with rich, tactile impasto textures. For me, the way the paint moves is a language of its own; the flowing drips represent the beautiful complexity of life’s journey, while the palette-knife and sponging applications create a surface you can almost feel.
